Enter His Gates Horse Camp is . . .
FUN! Campers from all walk of life come together and enjoy the great outdoors. The youth, typically ages 8 to 14, are engaged in activities such as horseback riding, canoeing, archery, fishing, swimming, and the science of nature.
AWESOME! Each camper has a different story and some stories already include Christ but others don't. Enter His Gates strives to impart the love of Christ and how to have a relationship with Him regardless of where they are at in their life story. Over the years a large number of the children have accepted Christ as their savior while at Enter His Gates and many more have renewed their relationship with Christ.
CHARACTER BUILDING! Each child is encouraged to do their best and they learn so much about teamwork, responsibility, trust, and self-confidence. Each activity is designed to benefit the child in someway. They may learn teamwork when canoeing or learn about sharing during archery, or responsibility during a nature hike; but the most amazing transformations come about when the child is riding a horse.
HORSES! The horse is an amazing creature of God that its very nature is geared towards working together, taking care of each other, and encouraging us all to be better humans.
